Long before becoming one of music's biggest stars, Kanye West struggled to convince the industry that a successful producer could also be a recording artist.
Footage from his early career shows him walking through Roc-A-Fella's offices playing what would become “All Falls Down” for employees while trying to generate interest. Former staff later said he repeatedly brought the record around.
