Master PA record store and a car trunk became a distribution network

Master P turned a record store and a car trunk into a distribution network.

Master P opened a record store, studied what customers actually bought, and began producing and distributing his own music.

Without major radio or MTV support, he sold records through stores and sometimes directly from the trunk of his car while expanding into new neighborhoods and cities.

No Limit Records became an empire. He did not wait for the industry to build infrastructure — he built infrastructure.

Ownership started with owning the pipeline. That is the part independent artists still have to fight for.
