Method Man Drops Limited-Edition Hat Collection with TWNTY-TWO and TICAL Athletics
By Malik Davis · Sunday, August 9, 2026

Nine times out of ten, you'll see Method Man rocking a cap or snapback while performing on stage, making his latest collaboration no surprise.
In partnership with Tical Athletics and retailer Twnty-Two, the Wu-Tang Clan member has released an exclusive line of hats that echoes the rapper's journey throughout the years. The limited-edition caps feature the Wu-Tang logo upside down with the words "Method Man" embroidered on the side, as the Tical Athletics patch sits on the opposite side. Designed in multiple colorways, including a New York Knicks-inspired orange and blue design. The rapper sported the new collection in an Instagram reel with the background music of his 1994 record "Bring the Pain."
Built for New York
The collaboration is described as "a limited collection of premium headwear inspired by the timeless spirit of New York City and the enduring influence of the Wu-Tang Clan." Twnty-Two co-founder Gary Gonzalez shared why Method Man was the perfect fit for the project.
"Method has remained authentic through every chapter of his career. That same commitment to quality, originality, and staying true to your roots is what Twnty-Two stands for. This collection represents New York, hip-hop, and the generations that continue to shape culture."— Gary Gonzalez, Twnty-Two co-founder
Beyond the streams
With Method Man previously sharing in 2024 that he had never made money from his music being streamed, this latest business venture showcases the growing trend of rappers expanding their entrepreneurial efforts beyond the music industry. The collection is currently available online for $50 via Twnty-Two.com while supplies last.
